Vastu
Land selection
Check a plot before you buy or build: its shape, slope, cut or extended corners, and the roads and trees around it. Then see which sides suit a main gate.
Sixteen zones with their elements. Highlighted entrances are the ones the sources call auspicious.

What our sources do not cover
- Soil testing. The only soil line in our sources is 'low soil density preferable'. There is no soil colour, smell, pit or percolation test, so we do not offer one.
- How the land rating percentage is worked out. The sample shows 55% and recommends more than 65%, but gives no method.
- How far off a road must be to count as a road hit.
- The two sample reports use different balance limits for zone areas and do not say why.
- The land report links plot faults to health and family outcomes. We do not repeat those claims.
What is this?
A check of a plot before you buy or build, following the sections of a published land selection report.
How Vastu Shastra reads it
The report starts from true north found on a satellite map, then places the plot in the 32-entrance ring and the 16 zones. It marks gate sides, fits the 45-devta grid, charts zone areas and ends with suggestions and a rating.
Questions
›Do you test the soil?
No. Our sources say only that low soil density is preferable and give no test, so we do not offer one.
›Is a corner plot good?
The sample land report is a corner plot with roads on two sides; it flags a curved south-east corner, not the corner position itself.
›Which side should the gate be on?
The sample picks auspicious entrances on the south and east. Any highlighted entrance on the wheel is marked auspicious.
